HALLOWSCREAM FESTIVAL INFORMATION

Join us on Sunday, October 29th for our 10th Annual Alhambra Pumpkin Run and Hallowscream Festival in Downtown Alhambra!

The Hallowscream Festival is held on 2nd Street between Main Street and Commonwealth Ave. The festival includes activities for the entire family! 

Check out all the activities we’ll have at the festival:

  • 10K Line-Up: 7:45am 
  • 5K Start: 8:00am 
  • Kiddie Fun Run(ages 4 + 5): 9:30am 
  • 1K Start (ages 6-10): 9:45am 
  • Alhambra Certified Farmers Market: 7:30am – 1:00pm 
  • Downtown Alhambra Kids Costume Contest on Main Stage (in front of Alhambra High School on 2nd Street): TBA 
  • Trick-or-Treating on Main Street: 1:00pm – 3:00pm 



 KIDS COSTUME CONTEST

The Downtown Alhambra Business Association is proud to bring you its Annual Hallowscream Costume Contest on our main stage in front of Alhambra High School on 2nd Street at 11am. 

For the past 25+ years, the Downtown Alhambra Business Association has been holding its Annual Halloween Costume Contest and we are excited to invite YOU and your family to join us! 

Get your costumes ready and registration will be ready soon. 

Trick-or-treating to follow the costume contest on Main Street from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Bring your candy bags! 

Calling all young superheroes and princesses! Join the Downtown Alhambra Kids Costume Contest for a spooktacular time! Downtown Alhambra Business Association brings you its Annual Kids Halloween Costume Contest on Sunday, October 29th 2023 at Alhambra Pumpkin Run Halloween Festival.

Meet us for a “spooktacular” costume contest at the Alhambra Pumpkin Run & Halloween Fest Main Stage, located on 100 South 2nd Street (between W. Main St. and Commonwealth Ave).

Costume Contest begins at 11:30am and ends at 1:00pm followed by trick-or-treating on Main Street for the kids from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Costume Contest is located on our main stage at the festival in front of Alhambra High School and across from City Hall on 2nd Street, south of the Farmers Market.

  • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Trick or Treating on Main Street at participating businesses.

    • COSTUME CONTEST AGE CATEGORIES:

    • Visit over 30 participating businesses in a fun walk around Downtown Alhambra.
    • Trick or treat bags available while supplies last for costume contestants.

    • Please note we are not printing maps this year. We’re keeping it digital to save paper. Thank you for understanding.
